RELATIVITIJD

‘Relativitijd’ is a Dutch wordplay, and therefore difficult to translate. Fortunately the idea behind the concept is universal, contracting ‘relativiteit’ (= relativity) and ‘tijd’ (=time).

 ‘Relativitijd’ tries to make time relative by exchanging hands with the natural colours of the day and hopes this can turn all the stress into a feeling of natural ease.

PERPLEX

‘Perplex’ is a light and stackable chair designed in honor of the 18mm multiplex out of which all the chairs are made.

By developing a design using nothing but this standardized material, a wide variety of chairs can be produced. Always the same pure and sober form but many different looks depending on the top veneer layer being used.
